you definitely nailed it on the head! Another instance where she’s similar to seulgi bc they both have that fierce and charismatic performing prowess but they’re still insanely cute and adorable at the same time. Plus soeun is also a very capable vocalist and has got such a sweet voice. She’s definitely stan material

When i said soeun is a “combination of seulgi and yeeun” i literally mean it, a combination. She doesn’t look exactly like solely seulgi or yeeun so if you’re just looking for her likeness to only either of those two it’s probably not gonna be obvious.

She just looks so much like what one’d get if they fuse seulgi and yeeun together lol. I mean, just her in the thumbnails alone in these vids scream those two lol, and then if you watch the videos in motion it’s uncanny

So i watched weeekly’s latest mv and i swear soeun looks just like if seulgi and yeeun have a love child lol, with yeeun’s facial features and seulgi’s face shape and cuteness and especially the eye smile. And the funny thing is she’s similar to them not just in looks but in talents too, being one of the main dancers and lead vocalists in the group

hyunjoo became a trainee at 14 and left the group at the ripe old age of 18, and naeun and jinsol are all even younger than her while chaewon is only 1 year older so they were all literally still of school age when the alleged bullying happened lmao. Like you’ve put it so eloquently, it was in fact quite a schoolyard, a breeding ground for teenaged immaturity, that didn’t even have proper adult supervision like in an actual schoolyard bc their manager allegedly was neglectful and biased since he was dating one of the bully members. This is all alleged talk of course; just wanna put it out there that your perception of the idol industry is extremely flawed lol

it’s not about the particular image that’s weird, my argument is about how the particular idols execute it that makes it either believable and appealing or jarring and forced. And in gfriend’s case i didn’t feel that the image suited the members much, especially with the excessive portrayal of “innocence” by their company. It felt forced. Which is why they didn’t appeal to me. It’s not about the image itself

Their newer image is much more appealing to me than what glass bead was about lmao. Their music overall in 2020 is one of the highlights in their career too, along with 2018. They’ve definitely got me more on their side now than they did half a decade ago. The girls seem way more comfortable being fun and confident than acting the virginal giddy schoolgirls image force-fed to them by their company at debut, and the genuineness makes me like them a lot more now.

Definitely looks like he took a picture of her behind to me. I could be wrong but that’s what my eyes tell me, especially since i’ve seen similar actions from japanese and korean men regarding this topic before. About why he’d do that in front of a camera, it could be that he thought the camera’s lens were much more close up and wouldn’t capture much of what’s happening behind the girls, and/or he used that opportunity bc the girls were distracted and unguarded due to being interviewed and therefore wouldn’t notice what’s going on behind them. And it’s entirely possible the video editor didn’t notice this so they didn’t cut out that scene before uploading the video. Again, i’m not saying this is 100% what happened, but it’s what I personally believe.
