I think the stats sounds a bit misleading because it’s missing someone context. ILLIT entered their first day (w/ less tracking) while Baby monster entered their second day with full day tracking.

For 2nd day (24 hrs):

Magnetic 2.1M

Sheesh 1.7M

Deja Vu rise looks like TXT has a sizable fanbase in SK which is good. But it’s going to need more ULs for stability. Maybe the GP will start tuning in when they start promotions.

I think they meant first time appearance on the chart. Although Baby Mon and other groups did have a full day tracking (ILLIT had 15) so I think they definitely meant highest first time appearance on Spotify global.

If ILLIT reaches top 10 there is no reason why they can’t enter hot100, with those numbers it’s definitely possible

ILLIT did 142k and TWS did 206k so this does look underwhelming.

Baby MON has high yt views which is good, but YouTube MV views alone isn’t a reliable metric for success. We saw that w/ batter up.

We’ll see how the gp reacts to their music once chart positions come out.

I think YG is having a hard time making the girl-crush concept suitable for the girls.
