2. Zico has not been found to be involved in the Molka chat in any way. The only evidence against him is his own words about viewing a golden phone, and he says the one he looked at years before the incidents for which that guy was convicted didn’t have any molka on it. Whether he’s telling the truth or not is impossible to know.

I said that g idle selling 200 in its 1st day is a normal number for a gg from midsize company at the time they debuted. Out of the ggs who debuted at the same time as Ive even kep1er had 3x the of numbers Ive did.
So no, I disagree. IVE numbers is from 2022 and G idle numbers are from 2017 so thats a fallacious comparison.
G idle sold relatively well for that period, they sold 58k in the 1st month. Loona, who were the most hyped gg from midsize company at the time, sold 68k; fromis9 sold 21k. I*zone was an anomaly in sales 34k in the 1st day because they came from the most popular survival show at the time.
I*zone's last release before disbandment sold 190k in its 1st day. As you can see that's almost 4x more than IVE sold in its first day.
I just want to correct this.
Gidle debuted in May 2018 with I am, and by the end of the year it had sold 27,891 copies on the Circle chart. Where you may be confused is that I am now has over 58,000 copies sold on the Circle chart but that is because of it selling steadily over the years as new fans have bought their older albums.
I remember when Gidle used to be ridiculed by Loona fans for their low physical sales, so the current situation where they’re selling over a million copies an album is very pleasing to me.
I’ve only ever bought one album in the past, but this time with Gidle’s new album I Sway (coming out on Monday) I’m buying one normal version and one cassette tape version, because I currently can afford it and I’m feeling nostalgic for the cassettes of my youth, lol.
I still have an old sound system that can play cassettes so I want to listen to what it sounds like .
The song is a blop, for me, the lyrics just don’t flow well. The MV is cute though, very Aespa.
If all the members have debuted before, then in my opinion they’re not rookies.

It doesn’t matter how good the song is or how talented you are, once you’re past a certain age as a group the general public lose interest. That leaves fan streaming and I don’t think RV ever had a huge fan base (that weren’t SM stans) in the first place. The SM stans will have moved on to Aespa.
The fact that they can still chart in the top 100 is testament to the respect they still have with the GP and their residual fandom.
Another factor is that once a big company has debuted a younger girl group, they will be given the best songs and producers and any older groups will be given the leftovers. You would only avoid this if you wrote your own songs. Given that SM are going to debut another younger girl group soon, it doesn’t look good for RV to ever get a hit again.

It’s a bop - I liked it. The MV is really great, she looks amazing.
I’d say it’s between a bop and a blop, as people said, it’s pretty generic. There were no real catchy parts. They all looked great though and I’m sure they have potential with the right song and a lot of label push.
