Just curious, have you all been following Stray Kids since debut or did you get into them later?
I've never followed any group I stan since debut so I wonder how that's like.
I stanned since i heard side effects but i think around that time they were already promoting double knot.

Aight, it's clear you don't understand what I am saying, and somehow assuming I am attacking Stray kids for some reason? You are wrong, but you won't understand that either.
Let me spell it to you mate, I like Stray Kidz, always did. Felix and Bang are my faves.
I am just trying to explain how I view the difference between generations.
Because for a new generation to come there needs to be a previous generation that would have to exist.
Ergo.
It was GOT7 - Skidz, Twice - Itzy, BTS - TXT, RV - Aespa.
Out of all of them, all of them are active (yes including GOT7) and quite successful.
So please don't get your knickers in a bunch over me, I ain't attacking your faves. Chill mate.
Cle is pretty chill they just brought legitimate arguments about generations, not that you were attacking skz lol
will it make you feel better if we say skz is 3rd gen?

Alexa play cheese by stray kids

To put it in a term that is not a music genre like "noise music", a lot of kpop songs to me sound as "kids bops". You know, something you would play at a child's birthday party. But you don't see me go around spending my energy to let people know that what they like is kids bops and it is ruining the music industry.
When you don't like a certain type of music and/or you don't understand it, doesn't mean it's bad and it's ruining kpop.

logic is hard

Def the most iconic internationally for 4th ( not locally ofc ).
SKZ in general appeal to a wider audience internationally with their sound & concepts. People can downplay it as the typical loud/edgy bg concepts, but these terms don’t exist outside kpop lol. It’s just cool point blank.
Just like the noise remark they’ve suddenly cling onto for every genre or sound they don’t like.
when they run out of arguments that can fight the fact that skz is way more popular in the west despite someone else from 4th gen charting better or whatever they'll come with the "well skz isn't really 4th gen they are more 3.5" gkdsgkhfjfb

lol god's menu says hi
-
I find it so ironic that people here go on about how 4th gen "noise music" (=EDM and rap) will never be remembered when God's Menu is probably the only 4th gen bg song you could consider iconic already, it was one of the most talked about comebacks of 2020
lmao for suree!! I don't care if god's menu didn't chart or whatever literally every westerner who listens to kpop even casually, knows and loves that song.
Also i think ppl feel like 4th gen won't be remembered maybe cos 3rd gen is still going strong, when some of these groups disband things will change.

Honestly I don't feel the same way
this is only my opinion which is not objective, but the term noise music doesn't have an objective description in kpop either, so who cares:
Go Live had God's Menu, Easy, Pacemaker, TOP, and maybe TA which were on the louder, or at least cool/energetic side, that's 4/14 songs
In Life had TTATH (not loud but experimental enough to kill a victorian child), Back Door, and I think that's it, 2/8 new songs
NOEASY had Cheese (do kpop stans count rock as noise
), Thunderous, Domino, SSICK, Wolfgang, that's 5/14 songs
as for their older albums:
I am Not: 3/8
I am Who: 1/8 if you're feeling generous
I am You: 0?
Clé1:Miroh :Miroh, Maze of Memories (maybe, because it's experimental), Boxer, Victory Song, that's 4/8
Clé2: Yellow Wood 1/3 of the new songs
Clé:Levanter: 2/8
once again "noise music" doesn't even have a definition, I personally don't like using it for that reason
They have so much versatility in their music it's insane. I only said that cos of the songs they chose to promote like scars and the view for example which i love but in comparison to the previous album they were less noisy and by noise music i mean everything heavily edm influenced, at least i think that's what kpop stans refer to. In reality you're right tho it doesn't have a definition cos noise music is not a genre lol

Fold is an entirely unreleased track - we don’t know what it sounds like!
It was the song that was going to be Stray Kids’ title track instead of God’s Menu!
That better get released!!
-
I was pretty sure that would happen since SKZ albums are usually well balanced and they seemed to be aiming towards different genres on earlier interviews.
I'm expecting Fold to be the title or side track, well, that's what I wish.
This song needs to get out of 3RACHA's dungeons as soon as possible.
Wait what is fold?? is there a clip on youtube i can listen?
