How do you get "she was friend with staff" (your words)?
Bc it is business after all? She needs to sit with them and talk or she needs some connections. She doesnt just come and go while having 0 contact with everyone else.

If we will be honest, probably a BIG part of Korean entertainment industry + rich and powerfull people are in this. About Hyoyeon, I doubt that she had no idea about anything. Just by being in the same company, you should get some things and ideas about what is going on. Ofc, she wasnt part of it probably directly, but imo she knew about what is going on and such things. The same goes for the staff of the club and everyone who went there often or were close to people involved. Anyone of those people should know and probably knew what is going on, they just didnt say it.
