    Approved the thread.
  • They are flopping

SKZ debuted on 25 on Spotify while TXT debuted on 81. They are doing worse than Ke Sserafim now with this drop.

  • Stray Kids debuted with 2M filtered streams whilst TXT debuted with 1.4M.

It’s not looking too impressive, but you’ll have to wait and see.

  • so moas have no excuses anymore when people said their album sales are only high because more versions?

  • Just checked the statistics again and Stray Kids debuted two B-sides with equivalent streams to TXT’s comeback.

  • All the three mentioned groups charted for more than 30 days on spotify global. What looks unlikely for TXT. Treasure and Enhypen were viral on tiktok and Stray Kids has lots of hype on their own

  • bad, really bad & i don't even mean this as shade. moas know it, hybe knows it, everyone who knows even the smallest bit of charting knows it.

i think hybe's mediaplay & most kpoppies being casual listeners of txt really skewed moas expectations.

they are doing bad on spotify, kcharts, youtube & their sales are mostly supported by the 9 different versions.

  • I think casual listeners are just not into this comeback and fandom alone won't carry them that far

  • Not that good. It's not surprising.Hybe keeps ruining their hype with bad song selections. They got a ton of fans after they released runaway but then wasted their hype when they released can't you see me.

Last year they were on a roll with love song and loser lover. Loser lover was even getting more streams than thunderous which was an anticipated skz comeback while ll was only a repackage song. love song was also a big kpop hit. But after all that hybe released this new song and no one can convince me they thought this would do well. Its like they wanted to kill txts hype on purpose. The song is quite bland and unforgettable. It is pretty much those 4th gen bg songs everyone hates.

It's clear everyone prefers bright or pop rock txt.

  • They only hit big with DARARI, they have to pray for another hit

  • well, txt is starting to lose that "they never release bad music" title. since they mostly rely on casual listeners, when those casual listeners don't enjoy their releases then their fandom isn't dedicated and strong enough to hard carry them. meanwhile skz and enhypen have both the many casual listeners but also the hardworking fandoms which can support each their release

  • I don't know about charts but the song was bad, typical 4th generation noise music!I don't know what's going on with hybe because also Enhypens last title track was bad!

  • Not a moa but I think people are overdramatic when it comes to TXT. This talk about them not having a big fandom is funny, their last album was close to 1M so the new one would be selling over 1M regardless of how many versions it has. And you don't sell over 1M without a big fandom period.

Surely the new comeback is not as liked by non-fans as their previous titles, however they're still doing quite well, it's not like they're charting worse than Enhypen or Treasure's TITLE tracks, the other groups were just lucky to have their viral bsides on tiktok, who knows maybe in few weeks TXT will have a viral bside too.

Anyway people won't easily lose their trust in TXT after one lukewarm title track, they can easily recover from this.
