I saw a bts x bp edit video with 50 million views??? Like even popular groups would have a hard time getting these views without ads.

It's way more surprising because Blinks and ARMYS hate each other, even here if you mention bp and bts together it very likely that it will end in a fanwar .
there are lot of armyblinks on youtube. And they happen to be the biggest groups in their gen. So I guess delusional shippers live through it.

the only interaction we've seen so far between these groups is Taehyung and Wendy.
Actually BTS has had more interactions with GGs of mid-tier companies, but since most kpop fans only stan big 3 groups, hence their ships with mid tier groups are less known.

But also Sana & jk were mc together, twice & bts often had cb together so they had interactions on those music shows, twice has danced often to bts (outside of award shows) & same with bts, taehyung & Wendy, jimin & seulgi were cute when that group collab happened, bts has danced often to rv outside of award shows,...

They are the biggest groups. Plus, the hate is all on social media mostly on Twitter. When I first discovered BTS and became an army, YT would recommend me videos of Blackpink and I would watch them. I like them and was unaware of the fanwars between the two fanbases. Until I joined stan twitter and other fandom spaces...
Remember, social media is a bubble. Besides, majority of people/fans are just vibing and not interacting on stan wars.

i said if you based this just on bts dancing to midtier ggs (which they often to), i wouldnt agree.
no matter what you're saying, bp & bts have always had the least interactions from those top 3rd gen groups, which is why these ships are the weirdest imo. i'll give you the MC thing, but i have never seen bp or bts dance to each others music outside of award shows (not like they have done with the other groups) & even when their schedules overlapped, they barely interacted. both groups act as if the other one doesnt exist & there is nothing wrong with admitting that, but it makes shipping them strange.
