Yet to Come sounds like their weakest TT ever if the leak is true.
My disappointment after this weird idea of an anthology after such a hiatus was huge but after the leaks it got even worse.
It's almost as if they have lost their way and just do things for the sake of doing them.

I'm afraid this was a miscalculated move.
first a compilation album after such a long hiatus (for bts) & now they will use a ballad as the tt? when their last tt was also a ballad? One of the leaks is amazing & one of the best songs they have, but they picked ytc??
i know it's probably meant as a goodbye comeback, but i think this is gonna hurt the fandom.
a lot of people are dissapointed & the hype has been subdueded (still bigger than any other cb, but with the anticipation for bts' cb before these announcement, the excitement seems to have lessened a lot).
if this is really their last album, this really wasn't a smart move imo.

The yet to come leak is very much giving "enlistment era coming soon but please wait for us"
Obviously, this song isn't meant to be one of their greatest hits and BTS and HYBE probably know this. At the very least, it's not a bad song for now it just seems forgettable
I don't think any of this is what armys expected for BTS' great comeback after almost a year of no official group music (excluding MU)...I wonder if they had other plans but now that it's looking more likely that the enlistment exemption won't pass HYBE is just scrambling to put something out to appease fans and make some easy money

yet to come is one of the weaker sounding leaks to me too. having another slower song as a lead means it won't chart well either. since armys tend to be obsessed with that, it'll bring the hype down even more. i hope they have something else up their sleeve, because this is looking like kind of a dumb move. they should've released it last year without promotion, since they didn't release any album anyway

OMG you guys are so impatient. Just see what they want us to see, they usually have a story to tell. Enjoy the arts. Don’t think too much about how it should be a banger and it should break records or what nots.
You guys are definitely success stans. You don’t care about what message they want to convey. If stanning BTS doesn’t make you see that they are not like other kpop groups (that just churn out albums hoping for hits), then I think you guys are in it for the hype.
*I think Bigbang is also another group that release albums based on their current being, not just for bangers, other than that...nope.

I don't stan any hybe groups besides BTS, but even a Txt or Enhyphen bside sounds better than Yet to Come (from what I heard atleast). It sounds like a very weak TT. It doesn't even come close to Spring Day. And I thought LGO is a snoozefest lol.

Y'know, this is the problem with Kpop community or Armys. You guys should expect that not EVERY fans/armys will be satisfied or happy with every songs of BTS. We all have different opinions or stances. We're not in a cult, let some fans rant or voice out their disappointments. It's normal not to like/love everything. Not liking certain things do not = to being an anti or whatever y'all think it is. If someone complained & you don't want to see/hear it, then simply block or ignore. It's just a music discussion.

Enlistment songs are always ballads it's hybe fault for postponing the comeback too much, waiting for the enlistment decision.

and this is why people think kpop (army) are a cult. as long as people don't attack bts themselves, it's completely fair to give your opinion? asking to wait is very reasonable, but stop policing around (respectful) armys who aren't as happy as others about certain decisions.
also asking for a banger/hype song isn't always related to wanting it to do well on charts? for some that could be the reason, but others just really wanted a hype tt instead of another ballad tt.

i don't have love every song they put out to stan them. if i don't like something, i have the right to say it. if saying i don't like _insert song_ trigger you this much, you shouldn't be at a kpop forum in the first place. i wonder how do people like you function irl when small negativity trigger you this much. maybe you can ignore said opinions yourself instead of telling people what to do.

bts is stuck with pdogg & that man has lost his touch years ago. he's totally capable of making basic ass songs with too much autotune and with a vocal production that's worse than some nugu soundcloud producer could ever make. Hybe should just let Suga (and the other members) produce bts' songs, without that man meddling.

like isn't Pdogg the guy who gave us basic boring Life Goes On? this new track has his name written all over it, another bland ballad. The member composed ballads have been soooo much better than any of their balld title tracks since Spring Day (wait, Spring Day's melody was also composed by a member lol).
Suga produces bop after bop for other artists and BTS are stuck with these Disney Channel rejects, f u Hybe

cut Pdogg some slacks, he is the main producers of Black Swan, On, Idol, Fire, Blood Sweet and Tears etc. His blandest track must be LGO but even that songs sound better than whatever Yet to come is. The vibe is different too. Yet to come sounds like a generic pop track that western producers usually go for. I would take Pdogg over the likes of Ed Sheeran any day. BTS's best producers were Slow Rabbit and Supreme Boi but they're already transferred to other groups and I'm never gonna shut up about this mismanagement.

i don't think i will. i will however admit that he made some amazing bops (same with lumpens and his fall from grace since MV fake love, etc..), but bts are the biggest acts atm. this isn't some try & see situation, he is working with the absolute top, so that's also the level the fandom can asks from him. hybe has some weird sense of undying loyalty to the OG team that's holding them back from actually improving, or at least moving fowards.
also, bts' best producers moving to their junior groups is a very calculated move imo. you can't tell me bts being stuck with the worst of the OG 3/4 producers is pure coincidental.
