What kind of audience is hybe aiming for with lsrf?

    It seems like they're trying to bring sexy ggs back, but from what I can tell judging by kpop's history, sexy ggs usually don't have huge fandoms because that concept usually doesn't target women / girls like girl crush, luxurious or even girl next door concepts usually do. Look at Sistar, 4minute and Girl's Day for example, they had hit songs but their sales were always low and their touring almost non existent.

    Is this the reason hybe insisted on signing those former izone members? To have a ready fandom push the sales while opting for a concept that's historically not popular with fandoms?

    Nah they have the backing of a big company + ex-izone members + charming members. I definitely do think they're aiming for a more mature, classy/sexy concept but they'll pull in fans since nowadays they're pretty much the only ones NOT doing girl crush or cute/fresh concepts.

    The industry has changed a lot since second gen, you can't really compare them to second gen artists - they're doing something new amongst 4th gen artists and they're standing out because of it.

    Judging from their showcase, I can already tell they have a huge male fandom and I feel like Yunjin & Garam (if she's proven to be innocent and her bullying scandal dies down) will bring in the female fans. They're bound for huge success.

    it's more of a classy, high fashion sort of image isn't it? More mature, definitely, but in a kind of sleek, sophisticated way, not necessarily "sexy".

    The sexy concept would be a good idea if some members weren't minors and they already have a big fandom so either way they'll succeed!

    even if that were the case is a first time for everything. The issue is that they purposely included minors in it.

    Yeah, definitely targeting simps and fanboys. Humping the floor is pretty obvious, and all their styling has been done to appeal to the male gaze.

    Some parts of their choreos are just absurd with how young the members are, even more with the type of outfits they perform with. It's obvious this group was created with no woman around.

    Yep it was tame and closer to girl crush / empowerment sexy than just plain provocative sexy.

    We all know. The I'm Fearless diluted girlpower thing is a front. The choreo and the school uniforms point to the real target audience.
