They have a lot more versions than normal plus albums sales are increasing.
It's the same as what stray Kids had recently with more versions and the distribution of albums getting better, so it's not a surprise TXT are seeing similar increases.

wait did I read that right? their 9 versions is the LEAST amount from all of these groups?!? Seriously, why is this okay? why haven't these groups been called out? selling 1 million+ doesn't mean anything anymore when groups are using this type of tactic to increase sales exponentially

Stray Kids only released their jewel case version days after the release of the album, not during the pre-order, their got 1,3M announced with 3 versions. I don't know why mention them here.

regardless of versions - sales is still sales and signifies a strong and large fanbase. Nuguband round the corner is not selling 1 million even if they have 100 versions so I don't know why this is always brought up... salty ass stans

If the additional versions were released a month or two after separate shipments make sense, but it was only a week or two? I don't see how it would make sense for them to be sent separately when you consider fees and admin that go into shipments, and really it's not a surprise if they released the additional versions and the demand for them was higher than expected. That's not an unrealistic take at all.

The difference to stock pre-orders announced and Gaon numbers between their albums without and with additional versions is very different, usually JYP numbers in articles are very precise when they don't have, at least with them. But if they had a higher demand, good for them, because what happens is the final numbers, lol.
But we can agree to disagree, we will end up walking in cicles in this discussion sharing our perspectives.

They’d already sold over 800k in SIX days before the individual versions even came out. Y’all reaching for absolutely nothing. also, i would LOVE it if bts has at least 4 normal priced versions next cb, but knowing hybe, they'll probably go for the 1/2 expensive versions so they won't tower so much above their other acts' numbers.
