Suzy, Suga, Jessi (?) - definitely will bring more fandoms to listen., than if he were to do it alone based on his own name.
Since he has not released in quite a few years now, there is no guarantee that he will be a success just by his own brand. So a smart and safe move.
He definitely has industry clout, but that does not necessarily mean he retains the public appreciation of early 2010s.
Like how Seo Taiji leveraged IU to boost his return after a long time. So Psy is using the same strategy.
