Why have no boy groups been invited to Coachella? Who will be the first?

2NE1, Blackpink and Aespa all made noise at Coachella yet boy groups with big Western fandoms have not been invited once. Why? And who will be the first to get invited?

Epik High performed few times. Bigbang supposed to performed but the pandemic started. And BTS had their own concert festival this year that involves the whole of Las Vegas.. I think for BTS they will join once their schedule are not as crazy and if they want to.

ggs tend to pull more casual listeners and boygroups are used to hiding their stage presence behind the so called difficult back breaking choreography.

BTS has no need for Coachella. Imagine thinking the biggest group in the world would travel across the globe to perform at a music festival that features mid 30s drunk Chads and "insta" baddies in butt floss. When they can sell out a stadium tour in the US LMAO kpop fans smh.

excuse me? It's this a snide against BTS? Have you watched their concerts? Obviously not!

people need to realize that besides the headliners of the event, no one is "invited" to coachella. that term is a misdirect and shouldn't be taken literally. all performers gain their spots at coachella through booking agencies worldwide that send in their lists of performers that are available and interested in the gig. in other words: connections.

i find it very funny how armys love making everything about bts even if they're nowhere to be mentioned. i wrote that with the current 4th gen boy groups on mind but i guess if the shoe fits... them boys ain't the centre of the world, even less of mine, so believe me i got nothing on them. y'all just suffer from a severe main character syndrome.

Epik High was not just the first boy group, but first KPop group to perform there. I'm not sure choreo heavy boy groups would go over too well with the Coachella crowd, like I can't imagine Seventeen performing there.
