I'll credit them 4.2m for week 1 to be genorous as it's the minimum to enter.
So Love Dive had a minimum of 39.8m ad views out of 52m total. The percentage of ad views was 76.53%.
That's not how the youtube weekly chart calculates. All streams from the audio across all videos contributes to the music chart.
Especially when you consider a lot of the streams are coming from Phillippines, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, etc. Countries that are usually great for YT views.
Dive act brave but forget Elevenbwas going strong on Spotify 200 for like 40 days and looking stable but after it was dropped from most playlist it sunk out of the chart in like 2 weeks after than and they bled over 2m MLs in like a little more than a month.
Eleven still is charting on spotify (and melon) after 5 months so it's definitely still strong. Talk to me once your faves do the same.
No. I will never understand how you'd think a VIDEO platform is a better indication that a SONG is a hit than a MUSIC platform. Because it isn't.
I've never seen youtube metrics being used as the main indicator that a song is doing well or not.
It's obvious some IVE antis clinged on youtube stats like their lives depend on it only because they can't come for their charting and sales, which will always be the main metric to tell if a top group is on top.
The truth is, no one else care about their youtube stats but IVE antis. That's a fact. Feel free to post these youtube stats on main cause I bet you're a gg stan threatened about your faves.

I was listening to Spotify recently and they played a commercial targeted towards physicians. Spotify thinks I'm a medical doctor.
Before Bigbang came back stans were kiking all over twitter. "Can't wait to see Korea show this criminal group what they think of them!" Then when Bigbang are still at the top of all 5 Korean streaming platforms after two weeks the narrative shifts...
Bigbang's comeback was both a book-end to Flower Road, and a testing of the waters after everything that's happened in the last five years. All members are more active since it has been so well received. So it's a win for them, and hopefully IVE feel they've had a great comeback too.
