I think Jype held both Chaeyoung and Jeongyeon back.

Mina has a beautiful color vocal but she doesn’t sing better than Chaeyoung.Chae has the stronger vocals. Her main problem is her confidence when she sings. Nowadays it seems like she’s getting better. I

Chaeyoung would’ve been a better rapper if she didn’t get held back and lose confidence.

Jeongyeon vocals are underrated and she’s the second best vocalist.

Momo isn’t as bad as ppl say, I think she sing a lot better when on their Japanese album because she doesn’t have to sing out of comfort zone and singing in her native language.

Jype is the reason Twice haven’t sold 1M albums because they don’t like restocking them. Big3 for years did this to senior groups (except yg).

Sana deserve her lead dancer position back

Tzuyu isn’t the most mistreated members. Mistreatment is more than what K-pop fans think. Mistreatment is how they made momo go on unhealthy diet and calling her pig. It’s when how jyp staff bullied Jihyo and called her fat on tv.It’s how jyp never treated Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung like they were in group. It’s how they don’t have enough security as they should.

I don’t think all of Twice are staying in the group or resigning.

Mina is a underrated dancer that deserves more praise than she gets. She’s also a main dancer of the group.

Jihyo should be in the Dance line and she’s one of the most talented main vocalist in big 3. She can sing and dance at same time without issues.

Tzuyu is more than a visual and deserves recognition for her other talents.

Jype needs to let Jeongyeon act

Chaeyoung needs a acting deal because she’s a good actor that got praised by Koreans for the SNL act

Dahyun need to act too because she originally wanted to be actress not idol and trained as one.

From someone who’s been fan for long time most members mistreated by Jype was Momo , Jihyo, Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung.

Least mistreated Tzuyu, Mina, Nayeon and Dahyun

Sana treatment was always in between but mostly she wasn’t mistreated like that

Twice are really good and people hate them just because they want something to hate cause sure as hell the most popular boy and girl groups right now are FAR from the most vocally talented ones

Twice aren’t the best singers in the world. But the narrative that they can’t sing is just outdated and boring.

Nayeon, Jihyo and Jeongyeon are really good vocalists.

Mina and Chaeyoung are weak but they can sing. Like it’s not like they’re struggling and they have a nice tone.

Momo is better singer when she isn’t forced to have her high pitch voice, her lower notes >>>

I agree they would have sold 1M a long time ago. The fact FS was selling 400k albums in 2019 but it reached only 500k sales this year, now look how much they sold this year with only restocking sales. And it’s only happen to twice it’s upsetting.

Momo's voice.

It isn't great for the range Twice sing in, remember they sing in a much much higher pitch than a lot of other groups and seriously high bpm songs and Momo's voice just isn't suited to that music style at all so her vocal quality is negatively exacerbated by that fact.

Look, her single abilities are very humble, but she has proven in her own range and in a comfortable environment she can sing well enough. I just think the producers they work with and Twice's particular brand of pop work against Momo and actually serve to highlight the weaknesses in her vocal ability rather than doing their best to play to what she is decent at.

Dance & Choreo.

Twice choreo went from some of the weakest in the industry imho. Very basic point choroes and simple easy to follow stuff to way way better now. I think right now you can only argue that their are 2-3 better active dance groups than Twice. Arguably Loona, Dreamcatcher and Itzy. At a push Twice can beat or match any of these.

Their dance tho has come on leaps and bounds since about late 2017 and now put out some of the highest energy choreo in Kpop and I don't think people appreciate how much work and effort they put in to go from the basic steps of Cheer Up and TT to choreo's like More & More and I Can't Stop Me.

Solo's & Missed opportunities.

I think Twice members, not all of them mind you, have had a ton of solo potential squandered by JYP. Nayeon, Tzuyu and Sana were perfect CF magnets in their first 2-4 years in Korea, Japan and Taiwan and the companies 'no individual CF's' policy cost them millions of Dollars early on and really stiffed their careers.

I think Jihyo and Nayeon also had amazing solo potential if they were pushed early in their careers too and Tzuyu was by far the biggest female idol in Korea for a brief period in 2016 and 2017 and now is really not a big name at all due to complete lack of promotion and missed opportunity I don't believe they can ever get back.

Currently I think only Nayeon has solo success potential outside of their fandom in Korea. It's a shame and it's really about 80% the companies fault alongside 20% of the clingy '9 or none' fans who oppose solo pushes.

And no, you don't have to be the best vocalists, the best dancers or the best rappers to be #1 boy group or #1 girl group.

In fact, many of the best vocalists, dancers and rappers are in groups that aren't the #1 groups.

The thing that JYPE did wrong the most was not enabling and supporting the individual careers of their idols. There's a reason that JYPE of the Big 3 have always had the lowest retention rate percentage wise and the highest amount of idols not renewing their contracts, and I think this is 1 of the main reasons.

Retailers buy Albums from a Distributor, that is when they are Restocked, Fans then buy Albums. It's simple, Retailers need to buy more Albums. With the surgence of TWICE's popularity in America, some Online Retailers have restocked their older albums, such as ktown4u.

TWICE's current Total Physical Sales including Japanese Physicals is 11,066,223

7,475,585 Korean Album Sales

3,590,638 Japanese Physical Sales

Under your "a million album sales", a GG would need to at least release 11 Albums if they sell a million each but realistically there are only a handful of GGs that would have enough Music in 7 years to even do that

Division 3's current strategy is a better bet, get content out to fans that are willing to buy it.

JYPE (and most Kpop Companies) doesn't provide a Diet Plan probably due to legal reasons where a Trainee can claim it was the Companies' Diet Plan that caused them harm however they do have Assessments where Weight is one of the Measured Factors.

We do know that Trainees are aware of the Assessments, so Momo starving herself means that her eating habits were poor which is common for Trainees as they are mainly kids.

If you've watched Sixteen, then you would see that Sana and JiHyo were heavy but that didn't prevent JYPE's Trainers and their A&R from suggesting they should be on the Show.

This is false information.

Momo's exact word were if she wanted to be on the showcase she had to lose 7KG in about a week.

So regardless of what ever Diet Plan was provided is irrelevant becuase unless you way 600lbs their is NO HEALTHy or SAFE way to drop 7kg in a week.

I'm sure Momo knows the situation better than you so quiet yourself.

JYP wasted Chaeyoung's potential.

Dahyun shouldn't rap, her rap parts are always cringy and ruin the song.

Everyone wants a Jihyo solo, but Jihyo herself knows that she wouldn't sell as much as the other members bcz of the popularity gap. (She should still go solo though)

Nayeon debuting this year solo is a bit too late, and I hope they don't make the song too high.

I know people want a lot of the twice members to go into acting, but I think they should do modelling/variety first because they'd get murdered for bad acting -- twice already has the talentless reputation by antis (for stupid reasons)

If Chaeyoung left Twice to go solo like Somi, I think she'd lose popularity but would be a lot happier. Who knows, maybe she'd be the Sunmi of the group.
