BP are fashion icons

I feel like people like to put down BP because they're "just models" and "just fashion icons."

While I dont agree with that because the girls are very talented and their music>>>>, I have to admit that they really are fashion icons.

There are really few other groups/members whose fashion I look up to. Like sometimes theyll wear something I like but it's not that consistent. Other than the BP girls, idols whose fashion I really like are: Joy from RV, Wonyoung from Ive, Hyewon from Izone, etc.

That being said, I love the Blackpink girls fashion. Their group fashion is honestly super good (not so much in the beginning when Lisa got some really horrendous outfits) and I always see something I wish was in my own closet whenever they're on stage or appearing somewhere. But the girls individual fashion is honestly super good too. Personally I lean more towards rose fashion style. I really like her feminine elegant kinda fashion but I also love jennie's fashion. I feel like my own fashion style is a fusion of those two. But that's not to undermine lisa and jisoo. Those two also have really good fashion sense and I love seeing their outfits and taking notes as well. I've especially been enjoying how Jisoo's style has evolved over time. Before she didnt really have an image but now u can see how shes evolved into a more modest and mature style who I feel like will become my source of inspiration as I get older.

Anyways the point of this whole thing is just because I always see people put down Blackpink by using "fashion icons" but I think it should be used at a term to uplift them. The girls have all found their own unique images and constantly inspire me with my own style and I'm sure they inspire other fans as well.

Some Pop (western) music artist aspire to inspire fashion

Madonna, Britney and Lady Gaga are Music and Fashion Icons. And nobody puts them down when they appear on the Paris fashion week.

Many Rock and Pop artist were known for their style.

But oh no, if you don´t have enough music (what is enough?) i will only call you a model, even when your music is going arround the world. And just one of BP songs has more exposure that all your discography combined.

Huh Blackpink got their fashion brand deals and invitations by actually becoming relevant. They are not the ones who got them straight from debut like certain groups. But whatever make you feel better.

I love their music even though people call them generic or repetitive but they are honestly not “very” talented. They’re mediocre at best, there are so many other talented idols out there like Wendy and Luna who don’t even get half as much attention. Their visuals obviously really played a big part. They are also lucky and the YG brand helped them too.

But what if they debuted in a smaller company? I don’t think they would get as much opportunity and luxurious brand deals especially global ones. So don’t underestimate YGE except for releasing little music. YGE really helped them in building their brand.
