When IVE debuted, Leeseos name was everywhere, on the korean side as well as on international communities. She used to to get the most fancam views after wonyoung, in some even topping her and ofc she went viral multiple times.
People were already calling her the next huge idol even comparing her with bigger names like her member Wonyoung.
Now that they had their first comeback the voices around her have become silent, she gets lower bottom fancam views and nobody really talks about her anymore. Not sure though what is currently happening on the korean side, if she is talked about much on there.
My conclusion is, that Leeseo had more lines, center positions and screentime in their debut so that she easily caught peoples eyes.
Although Leeseo did not have the least lines in Love dive, I feel like Starship purposely reduced her screentime and pushed her back and gave more center and lines to Rei, wonyoung and yujin. Even Liz and Gaeul, who have less lines than leeseo, sticked out more in the MV than her. Or maybe it’s just my impression
I would have expected for Starship to take advantage of leeseos debut hype and keep up her momentum, but they seem to burn it.
