If the government wanted me to do it, I would so that I stay on the government’s good side for longer and hopefully it’ll make my life in the future easier (if I survive the war I mean). Now, I may not be a good candidate since I’m one of the physically weakest people I know, but I’d try my best.

If the government either said nothing or warned people to not get involved, in fear of the situation escalating, I’d leave the country to a neutral country that has no plans to ever join the war (due to a small military, country size, disinterest, nothing to be gained for them and/or so on). Yes, that may make me seem like a coward, but it’s true. I get scared easily and value my life. I’d want to be able to sleep and night and not be scared of never waking up again. I might have to cut a few corners financially, but I’m sure I’d find a way to manage and it’d be worth it. Have a great day/night!
