Don't you think the japan bighit group is unnecessary?

  • the trainees who are already confirmed didn't impress me one bit during I-land and bighit is already debuting too many boygroups. If they really wanted they could take 1 or 2 members and debut them in the pledis bg or smth. and bts, svt, txt and enhypen are already doing well in japan. they could've waited with debuting a japanese group. They're still searching for other members but it's a waste of time. could spend that energy on the girlgroups. apparently they'll have a werewolf concept. I don't see what new that will bring when enhypen already has smth similar (vampire concept)

    Approved the thread.
  • No, K must debut. Although I don't like it that their lore is tied to Enhypen's, they should've gotten their own independent storyline.

  • I don't get the hype of K and even if I did debuting a whole group just for 1 member is too much

Well, he's a great dancer with immense stage presence, maybe they'll pick talented people so the group will be ok.

  • Bang PD made a promise to K on the final I-land episode that he will help him with debut. So you can say he's just keeping his promise :dancer:

many idols in kpop are good dancers and have even better stage presence. And his dancing is stiff imo but okay we'll see if the other members are better but they won't be better than bighit groups and that's for sure. already too many filler members. i'm not a trainee a fan and they haven't debuted but it's already clear the jp group won't compare to them in everything.

I agree regarding the existing members but hopefully they snatch talented trainees on the audition show, otherwise their situation will be tragic. The fandom will mostly consist of K stans haha.

  • Not an enhypen fan but I watched their show and there are two trainees in Japanese group I really liked they got star power and are really talented they should've joined some other company and debut as kpop artists.

  • Let's be honest, that japan group with its current members isn't promising.

We haven't seen neither of them rap. We have seen their vocals and nobody seems promising. Taki's were pretty bad, that's why he got eliminated. Dancing skills wise, only Nicholas is good, K at best too but he seems kind of weird while dancing.

I don't understand why was this group even formed. At least they should have taken the much more talented trainees on the show such as Hanbin, Daniel and Geonu. Now it seems like hybe just threw in the most random trainees they had into that group.

It will be even worse for hybe when they see that this group won't be able to surpass their current boy groups in japan

  • yes idk what went to bang pd's mind when he decided this is a good idea. I'm even more curious about the pledis bg than whatever this is gonna be. Also, they didn't win in I-land for a reason. It's kinda weird debuting the people that didn't make it in the same company as the actual winners (enhypen). then what was I-land for?
