Honestly, what's the point in differentiating them?
Are impact, popularity, and success all the same thing in kpop?

Impact is a meaningless word used in fanwars to make one's faves seem relevant. It's usually used in place of actual success metrics like albums sold, #1 hits charted, or most viewed videos - if you cant brag about those tangible things, you usually end up claiming your faves have "impact" when they usually don't.
Popularity and success are a bit different. If you define success by albums sold, there are groups like Idle which might not qualify since they only sell about 200k albums, even though their song is wildly popular.

I rarely see impact not backed up by actual data.
Not talking about when fans say the term impact btw like someone else said when it's used in fanwars. But actual impact doesn't need to be stated differently because the numbers will always back it up.
