How popular is Vietnamese food in foreign countries ?

Banh Mi and Pho are the most widely known and are trendy in even moderately sized cities in the US. Goi Cuon (spring rolls) are also popular. Drinkwise, Viet Coffee is popular too. There is a chain called Bambu that is also making waves in trying to make Che (Viet Dessert) more appealing to the general crowd.

In larger, more international cities at least in the US lesser known dishes like Bun Bo Hue, Banh Xeo are becoming increasingly famous. Of the cities, Houston, San Jose, Orange County/LA can be seen as the epicenters of Viet cuisine in America. Viet fusion is also becoming popular.

Well... I think pho is very popular.

well in the U.S Vietnamese food is pretty known there are alot of restaurants almost everywhere

I've lived in both Canada and the states and it's very popular in both cities I've lived in.

I've never heard or eaten Vietnamese foods here in the Philippines so I guess not (maybe it's popular, I just haven't heard of it).
