How do you get better at a language outside of a class curriculum?

what she said and have rhe subtitles of bith english and the oriiginal language so you can learn fhe written words as well

just listening to the language conversations while you work or do other things, it can really help

When I was learning Spanish, I dated someone who knew Spanish that helped me a lot.

Language learning apps especially ones that allow you to communicate with others and exchange languages like HelloTalk. Classroom based learning is not realistic at all.

Listening to music was what helped me the most, I learned many words

Reading manga, webtoons or comics and watching something entertaining (with subs in your language if you are not fluent enough). It shouldn't be boring otherwise you will quit soon
