should sm take care of nct problems before debuting the new boy group?

WayV often not getting comebacks, Mark/Haechan often missing Dream schedule since they’re in other units too, Sungchan/Shotaro still not getting regular jobs despite being added for a year, Nct hollywood plans up in the air, … Should SM take care of all problems with NCT before they start another group?

There are no concrete plans to debut a new boy group yet. Just that they're holding auditions and getting ready. It could still be another year or longer before they debut another boy group.

But since you're worried about NCT:

When Dream was made permanent special subunit it was announced that they wouldn't always promote with 7 members. 127 will always be Mark and Haechan's main unit and when the rest of 5Dream debut in another unit it's gonna be the same for them.

WayV is working on a comeback. All of then have made reference to it. Yangyang has talked about how after their break to see their families is over he will back in the studio learning choreography.

SM has already announced that a new NCT unit will debut this year. With Sungchan stepping down from Inkigayo next month that means their schedules are wide open to prepare.

if i were sm, i would just give up on changing anything with nct & start anew with a fresh bg

nct is making money now, so just keep this formula going and be prepared to completely change it up with their new bg
