Approved the thread. -
I told everyone they were a fad, most refused to listen. Sad but true

i personally thought their song this time was not that good so maybe they thought the same

There always was a risk that the audience fell in love more with their success story than with the group itself. Which means it wouldn't last long after the novelty's gone.
I don't know whether the group is indeed in that situation but I wouldn't be surprised.

Well if you ever find the formula to that problem of popularity.. you can over take Elon Musk.
That is why acts like IU, BTS are the 1% of the 1%, because they not only got popular, but are consistently popular. Most others are only as popular as their last release.
But Brave Girls, it was kind of expected.
Rollin nicely picked up a viral moment... that itself was a miracle after what 3 years.. but the underdog story can be sold only once.
Still they had their moment in glory and will manage couple more years in the 2nd or 3rd tier. Not at all bad.

They literally had the biggest Kpop gg song last year
They didn't. Next level was bigger

Because they were a viral trend, they weren’t a popular group. Same way Psy gangnam style was super popular worldwide because of the song and psy himself has since faded into obscurity.

Rollin hype is over. Nobody actually started stanning brave girls when rollin went big, so now nobody cares for them.

I'm going to point out the exactly zero visibility for this comeback.
Anyways please show your support! Brave girls are pretty good, especially due to their more retro sound!

they went to hard when Brave girls become successfull
they directly send them to every variety show, every radio show to talk about their struggle
and once everybody heard the great successfull fate they had they no longer wanted to hear about them and move on
also their songs were more popular than the group
rollin become a hit thanks to a viral hit and We ride was successfull because it ride on Rollin wave
but when they came back with chit ma ba rum you could see that as a group brave girls weren't a strong girlgroup
+ they are know for their summer songs, and were targetting the summer queen title they should have follow Sistar comeback schedules and comeback only during summer so people really hype their comeback
also brave entertainement isn't really good to promote their comeback and promotions at least i hope they gather a solid fanbase to continue for 2-3 more years
-
They got revived by a viral YouTube video. They rode that hype for quite a while, but "huge group of people who enjoy a good viral moment" are not the most stable or loyal fanbase.
They are going to be the Rollin' group just as Momoland are the Bboom Bboom group. Both groups are on the long road to disbandment.
