One other thing that I see a lot on older music videos is:

the good old never-ending cycle of criticizing the present and glorifying the past

I also see a lot people comenting "Hey this was filmed in my old hometown. 2:31 you can see me, the girl with red boots and white dress walking into the store. I miss 1987" or "I am the blonde girl next to the band's singer in the car. I was just 15 back than and got asked if I would love to act in an MV for 40$ an hour. I said yes, cause I wanted the N64 so badly and they filmed for soooo long that I was able to buy the N64 at the end of the day" or "Yo the building in the back at 1:50 ... they sadly demolished it in 1999"
