    1. [+1,005, -17] Even if he has to be punished for this, I hope that he comes back alive

    2. [+702, -26] A thousand times better than some other YouTubers who are all talk and no action about being soldiers... I'm sure it was a difficult decision, and I hope he comes back alive. Very amazing of him to do this...

    3. [+526, -46] It's fine that he's volunteering on his own accord but let's please not criticize our government for having to punish him. Ukraine is on the banned visiting list after all, they just have to follow protocol~

    4. [+238, -24] Wow~ I don't like Lee Geun but I have to give him props where it's due.. this is amazing!!!!! Daebak

    5. [+170, -5] Either way, he's going no matter what so I wish him a safe return

    6. [+42, -3] So cool! He can't go on behalf of our country so he's volunteering personally. Who could ever put him down for that! I wish him a safe return~~~

    7. [+50, -26] I understand his need to serve but I don't think a personal decision that is essentially breaking the law should be considered as something that helps our country's image. There are laws for a reason, and I don't think it's right for him to break them.

    8. [+28, -4] Not sure if this was necessary..... but please come back alive~~

    9. [+42, -23] Stuff like this should be done quietly for it to feel genuine. I hope he's not going just to get some YouTube footage to upload on his channel.

    10. [+29, -10] I feel like he's out of line for this..

    11. [+23, -4] I understand that he's putting his life on the line for a greater cause but as a soldier himself, he should not be going to a banned country.

    12. [+16, -5] Real man 👍 come back safe~

This war is very symbolic to alot of people

Before England got involved, the biggest opposition to fascists were also volunteer soldiers

  • i am confused, anyone know why this is illegal?

Because last month the government banned travel to Ukraine and ordered citizens to leave the country. New reports from the foreign ministry of affairs say he never contacted them regarding applying for an "exceptional passport" that would have allowed him to travel to a banned country. In all likelihood, the government will invalidate his passport.

So he can't leave SK? Or so he can't come back if he already left? Thanks for the reply.

  • I gotta say if he makes it out the other end of this, he better invest in a body cam now. Just to record fighting and stuff for content....

that being said I admire the sheer flippin size of his tungsten balls going into a warzone like that. I'd be donating like hell but I'd be dead within the week on any frontline if not by enemy fire, probably by personal mistake.

Dude is a former SEAL, going up against Russian conscripts will be a walk in the park for him.

Isn't it also because citizens can't join foreign army unless their goverment gives them the permission to do it? Here it's like that , not sure about SK

  • it's like that here too. fighting for other countries is illegal

Ikr? You basically go somewhere to kill people even if it's for a let's say (for the lack of better words) good cause uhm...no wonder it's illegal ....some countries already gave their permission though...I think Czech republic did

i didn't even know about this until one famous-ish journalist went to fight for i forgot which country. i remember that i read on the news that if he comes back tnat he would be arrested

  • He's getting a ton of flack from knetz with his latest IG post

    PLJPVEv.jpg

He's thanking Ukraine for their help during the Korean War and saying he's returning the favor. The thing is...Ukraine was obviously part of the USSR back then and they were on the side of China and North Korea in the war.

wow I'm sorry but this is so stupid from him ....USSR sure helped during Korean war ....but they helped the North Korea :sweatr1:

  • If Ukraine wasn't in Europe, he'd probably be considered a terrorist.

Well, that practice is as old as time itself I think.

for modern day examples, the US military leans on Constellis a lot.

Although it was founded out of virginia, is a fundamentally english speaking company, and still is stated to be patriotic to the US, it moved headquarters to the UAE...
