I've yet to go on a true Studio Ghibli binge, but so far the classic Howl's Moving Castle

My neighbor totoro blends the wacky imagination of a child and realistic grounded story to make a surreal journey. The character development is unmatched as you really feel that the characters grow with the journey and have genuine realistic character flaws that only aid.

I am a huge Studio Ghibli fan and will watch all of their release. Growing up their films help me learn Japanese.
Didn't like: Earwig (it was just soooooooooo bad)
Pretty good: Cat Returns, Arietty, Marnie, Tales of Earthsea, The Wind Rises (did like the OST tho), Pom Poko, Ocean Waves
Loved: Howl, Ponyo, Poppy Hill, Kaguya, Porco, Only Yesterday, Castle in the Sky
Masterpieces: Spirted Away, Mononoke, Totoro, Yamadas, Whisper of the Heart, Kiki, Fireflies
The only film by Studio Ghibli that I won't watch again is Grave of the Fireflies (twice is enough); Kaguya is also a difficult one for me to watch too but I loved the art and social commentary within it even if it's emotional.
