I'm beginning to have my doubts to be honest... If we don't hear that the shooting have started by the end of january/start of february i'm going to see that as the beginning of the end for the show

Well they were doing CAP-TEEN, and Show me the Money 9 in same time, and MAMA was also in same time... so I think they are capable of doing multiple shows in same time or just one after another.
another thing is that Road to Kingdom started in late April if I remember well
and now trainees can send videos with applications to participate in Girls Planet 999 to 21st February.
After that judges/experts/casting directors will need some time to watch those. Then they will inform girls and their agencies that they are in, then slowly they will begin filming.
And I would be mega surprised if MNet would start filming Girls Planet 999 earlier than in April.
So they can start filming Kingdom soon :)

I really hope it happens because then Stray Kids will blow up for sure - KINGDOM can give them the domestic fandom that will cement their success!
