I know quite a couple of K-Pop fans, but they all lost interest throughout the years. I feel like I'm the only one left now who is relatively up to date and invested

I live in U.S. u r an army? Well don’t believe anyone who says bts ain’t relevant here. Especially with younger gen. Being an army is basically normal at my school nobody bats an eye, a lot of ppl casually listen to their music to even I was surprised. Kpop in general got so much more normalized over the pandemic

They are super popular among high school students and college students from my experience. Especially Dynamite is a hit. I went on a road trip with my friends and they kept playing it even though i don't like it lol

Yes, I've met some, I actually work with a couple of girls who are primarily ARMYs but they like other groups too. Most of the fans I have encountered are ARMYs as they got into kpop when BTS became the token group. Being in kpop for a longer time, I'm the only one who is not an ARMY among the kpop fans I know, lol. As to girl groups they only seem to tolerate Blackpink, which baffles me because there are so many awesome girl groups in kpop.
