NFTs are everywhere in K-Pop now

They just follow trends for make money. It's that simple. I'm just curious to know which artists will really try to resist this trend and especially what alternative they will offer.

Told y’all, it’s inevitable. And NFT is not limited to KPOP. It is everywhere, in the sports industry , American industry too.

Nft's are just half baked. No two ways around it. Its like a patent office but like also tracks ownership of goods but then doesn't have any sort of enforcement... Kind of shooting oneself in the foot if the whole point of a patent office was for the dang enforcement.

Imma call it NFTs as they are now will not be successful. They will have to adapt and change before it can survive or it goes in the archives as a "cool idea, but for an alternate future"

It's true but I think we'll be surprised. Because the real debate is above all in the freedom of sharing on the internet. So it will be interesting to know the position of the artists on the subject.

I obviously don't include the BIG3 artists since the companies decide for them and they will never say anything. And also all the others also controlled by their company.

I hope IU, MMM and Dreamcatcher will resist as much as possible. But I think the real challenge will come from younger artists who want to stand out and create their own path.

I think they'll find a balance like some people do with music. They market it for make money and also sometimes share free songs. But I think some in very rare cases will reject it completely to stand out.

This! How are they going to prove they have ownership of something when you can just screenshot it and remove any watermarks easy?

it's so disappointing

YG goes green with their album packaging and materials but then gets into the NFT game . They went the cost savings route and made press releases to make themselves look like the good guys. People ate it up.

at the end of the day it's a business decision based on supply and demand

if there is enough people will to part their money for such NFTs - it's their choice and they can and thus there will be companies willing to create and sell NFTs

I might not - you might not but somebody will and thus a market is created...

Jesus. Well, this companies love the money and Kpop fans are so dumb. Easy money. Mmm, what bothers me, Sunmi is not with a small agency? I believe she have more power over this decisions instead idols under JYP, SM and Hybe. She is ok with scamming her fans?

So they plan on making digital photo cards in the form of NFTs?
