The main focus should be the vocal line , they are stronger and wouldn't make people mad.

They're better singers than they are rappers so idk why the producers would give them an uneeded rap???
Considering what a low bar that is given the rap quality, I just want to add: their main singers are actually really flipping good. Like that middle pop rock-esque section singing parts was fire. Why they didn't go all in on what they're best at is beyond me.
And it's genuinely baffling to me coming from JYPE too, because that's a company that has historically been very aware of their idols' weakest points and been very good at giving them songs that make them appear to be much stronger than they are.

I really don‘t know what JYPE was thinking releasing that song. If you wanna mash up two songs at least make sure both sound catchy and are somewhat the same genre. SNSD‘s IGAB is a nice example of how it should be done. Two songs that appeal to the general audience, have a nice beat and give off the same vibe, since it‘s the same genre.
When it comes to the rapping part - I agree 100 percent. There are a lot of weak rappers out there and I admit that I‘m not the hugest fan of Irene‘s or Dahyun‘s rapping. However at least their rapping parts don’t make up 70 percent of the songs and they‘re definitley not ruining the mood of the song. If JYPE really feels the urge to let the NMIXX members rap then he should give them a more laid back part and let them intensly work on their rapping technique and tone.
Don‘t wanna sound mean but those people that claim ITZY‘s always shouting in their songs should listen to NMIXX‘s rappers. That‘s actual shouting.
