How successful will sakura and chaewon group from hybe be?

    Well we don't even know if such group is in the works at first place and if it is, we don't know the members. It's all based "what if" right now.


    But if we accept that such group with Sakura exists, I believe they will do really well in Japan. Great selling power too. Big international fandom. I don't think they'll beat ive, aespa etc in Korea though.

    digitally is anyone's guess but they will definitely be successful at least physical wise.


    Remember, it's not just Sakura and Chaewon, but also Heo Yunjin who was pretty popular in PD48 and Knetz were excited to see her debut in spite of the evil edit she had recieved while ifans never stopped liking her. Heo Yunjin's vocals are also amazing and sure to carry whatever song they are given.


    If there's anything I wish my faves had it's the fact that no one will be able to call the group untalented with Yunjin and Chaewon aboard. And who knows, they probably have some amazing dancer or rapper hidden as well knowing HYBE.

    It'll be super popular and successful. Chaewon is a major stan attractor and if yunjin is a member too she's gonna shook eveyrone with her vocals. And let's not underestimate the power of sakura.

If it was possible snsd and any other 2nd gen gg would have been able to duplicate sistar's 9 consecutive #1s.     That was in 2018… Wonyoung’s popularity right now isn’t even comparable to how she was back in Produce48. Sakura was the most popular within the watchers of the show.


    As soon as Iz*one gained GP recognition with Violeta the top three became Wonyoung, Sakura, Yujin. Sakura ended up being one of the least popular members in Korea overtime, I thought every Wiz*one knew this? That’s why Sakura stans constantly insult OTR, because she was always at the back with no lines and it contributed to her fading in the background.

    Chaewon did have a rise in popularity in Korea but it’s definitely not the same level as Yujin who was like everywhere on national TV for a while.


    Also, nobody was mad in Korea. Knetz were happy with Wonyoung winning LOL it was international fans that lost it

    To answer OP, I think they'll be very strong internationally and do decent in Korea.

    I think Hybe has 3 groups coming so, and I think each group will probably focus on a different market. I think all 3 groups will be pretty successful.

    Brand ranking isn’t a good indicator of popularity we’ve been over that. Chaewon was top 5 in Korea but… so was Yujin. Chaewon was more popular during their Iz*one days but around the end of Iz*one it shifted. Yujin kept promoting on her own while Chaewon got locked inside a basement. Yujin has a lot more GP recognition than her now.
