Why weren’t Red Velvet’s “weird” songs hyped/loved in Korea like NCT/Aespa?

I miss Red Velvet

Ice Cream is drum n bass (EDM subgenre) music. Dumd Dumb did well. Rookie might be one of the most repetitive songs in K-pop yet still sold over 1M downloads.

Korea just chose which "weird" RV songs they liked. RBB and Zimzalabim were the ones they ignored. Case closed. They don't like NCT's songs in general, nosie music be damned when Superhuman was straight up pop perfection.

We already have the non-existent nctzens "claiming nct is a 4th gen group" and "combining all units achievements" being used as covers to freely bash the group, now it's the "nctzens are using aespa to brag about nct"
