Why hybe bsides are going viral?

    The songs do just as good or even better than the actual title tracks. They find an audience outside the groups fanbase. Dope, fever and anti romantic to some extent all did better than their respective title tracks. Fever, a bside was the most streamed 4th gen song last year. Polaroid love is currently Enhypen's highest charting song in korea and has already outstreamed the title track.


    If you look at the average performance of a bside you'd notice that they get much less streams than the tt. A tt would be at 100m streams while the bside would be at 15m if you're lucky.

    Viral where exactly. I don't believe anyone besides BTS has "viral" b-sides among boy groups. Hell there are hardly any viral title tracks from them

    I think you should stop this we armys don't support other groups. When it was armys who helped txt pull numbers at debut that took them long time to match up. There are multi armys.

    ??? I am an army too and yes, while txt got lots of exposure thanks to us during debut, nowadays armys couldn't care less. We are talking about ARMYS here, not army multis. Of course multis will stream all their faves,but the one I quoted is assuming that non army multis do the streaming for groups under hybe. Come on, do I really have to explain this?

    For a song to be called truly viral it needs to be poppin on multiple platforms for a long ass time and then make a entry on an official chart. The closest to kpop viral last year was Money but again only by kpop standards.


    You can’t talk bts they are too mainstream so even if 5m are listening that’s probably 5m Armys and casuals

    Those songs literally went viral among the kpop community and just because they didn't chart in Korea it doesn't mean anything. They still charted internationally and nobody is claiming those are such big hits but they did go viral. Up until today I see people on tiktok doing the fever choreography,not even kpop fans
