    I will start with the fact that I'm not blaming anyone here

    just sayin that I wish him speedy recovery

    and hope no one of other TBZ members, other group members which attended Seoul Music Awards, staff or MC's will get it


    but in same time I need to say that it's confirmed that he recently went to a dinner with someone, and friend of this friend had covid...


    now this is why you don't fkin go to eat to restaurants etc. because you damn need to take your mask off,

    so akp yorobun just order takeout if you are in city, then at least when you are walkin and talkin with someone on street there is fresh air around ya

    At this point masks are useless if social distancing protocols aren’t in place. Like how you going to require me to wear a mask in indoor venues when there are hundreds of people within an arms reach. The point of social distancing AND masking is that masks help shorten the spread of airborne virus, hence why it was recommended to stay 6ft away from each other.


    Either way, getting vaccinated is the best way to prevent severe symptoms when you do catch covid because it’s not realistic to expect covid to disappear and have strict masking and quarantine protocols in place for years and years.


    Edit: oh and hope he makes a full recovery and anyone else that shows symptoms of covid.

    but in Korea they are used to wearing masks

    in public transportation or even doing shopping in some shopping mall or grocery store


    it's not like for us around the world where half of dummies will protest masks or just cover mouth and walk around breathing through the nose (lol),

    He's vaccinated 3 times and self quarantined after he went on a dinner. Also not the person he went on a dinner with was positive, but an acquaintance of this person, so he wasn't even near the person that later tested positive.


    Also Covid is spreading crazily right now, but most people don't get harsh symptoms anymore + especially not the vaccinated people.

    Some people expect that everyone will just be locked in their room the whole time for TWO YEARS already, that's crazy. It's not ok and don't forget humans are inherently social beings!


    Life needs to go on, while being careful of course, but we can't live in 'fear and stress' all the time, he was fully vaccinated, he did all he had to, but still happened, it can happen to everyone, so don't be smartass about it.

    I know masks are a thing in Korea. I lived in Asia for a few years before covid so I know masks are common place.


    My point is, why expect idols to not socialize by eating in a restaurant or go out yet we celebrate when they attend music shows that have hundreds or thousands of other attendees? That just doesn’t make sense.


    If you truly want idols to be so called “responsible” then boycott all live music shows and tell companies to stop sending all celebs to attend these events.

    if yes then as fan I would be mad because here for example gov urges people to take some leave from job, not do physical work, workouts etc for 2-3 days after being vaccinated, just stay in home, relax, eat well, regenerate.

    Yes, he was vaccinated for the third time and I don't know their rules, but in my country we go to work right after vaccination + here you don't even quarantine anymore if you're vaccinated 3 times and exposed to someone with covid. Most people are getting no symptoms at all right now but everyone is in quarantine and it's a problem.

    It doesn't make sense anymore, that's why our government is trying to lessen quarantine, because hospitals are not full anymore at all, but covid is spreading crazily, just not harming anyone that much anymore.


    Also why should fans be mad lol.. In that case we should be at home just all the time for 2 years, there is always someone you've been near to that knew someone that had covid, it's neverending in this way.


    And yeah Eric has a big group around him, but that's his job, if it was up to you all, the idols wouldn't do anything at all now in two years, just filmed vlogs in dorms and film mvs and dance practices.


    There are a lot of jobs and professions that demand being close to other people every day. Idols have at least all the same people around them all the time. Some professions make you be close to dozen or even more other new people every day, but what can we do, we can't just cancel it all, not everyone can just work from home and without human contact in person. It also wouldn't even be good for us.


    + I know A LOT of people that have or had Covid lately, but only one had severe symptoms and had to go to hospital, others didn't have symptoms at all or just mild ones. And this one person is unvaccinated + a male in their 50s, with possible other health issues.

    How is that even a childish mindset when the CDC says recovering from a covid infection offers you the same immunity as an initial dose? There are even countries who don’t require vaccinations if you have recovered from covid already. That and the law allows you to carry on normally with your daily activities.
