Is anyone else starting to believe 4th gen is 2nd gen 2.0?!

Snsd and sistar now aespa and ive? Those 2 groups were head to head on digitals and awards and now it looks like it’ll be the same with aespa and ive from the same companies? Itzy being wonder girls and jypn is missA? Yg group will be 2ne1 so big but not as big as bp? It’s getting strange

No. The comparisons are all wrong

Many 4th gen idols are also very young just like many 2nd gen idols when they just debuted.

I think It will be 2nd gen more in a sense there will be a lot of big groups doing similarly well.

Sistar and IVE aren't comparable.

Sistar was one of the biggest digital monsters on korean charts and that's it.

IVE have the sales and both national and international relevancy. It's very different.

I really don't understand why users keep comparing IVE to groups that objectively are smaller in plenty aspects than them (Kep1er and Stayc come to mind).

Sistar is a legendary group, but in this case IVE is more similar to aespa and SNSD because how big they are in other aspects beside kchart digitals.
