That’s why I find it hilarious when you have those “net worth “ videos and the girls are worth like only 2 millions .

There’s no way you stick with a company almost 7 years earning this much revenue both in Korea and Japan and not get a significant piece of the action .

Including all Oricon sales makes it c.1.6m sold in 2019. 2018 the total is c.1.54m sold. Around 60k more sales can't account for that difference surely. Digitally 2018 was probably better as well, at worse the same.

If the girls are only worth 2 million each, then JYP is a mfing criminal and needs to be put behind bars for out and out thievery.

Unfortunately, the way contracts are structured in every pop industry including the US, it wouldnt surprise me to learn that the girls are only getting a fraction of what they have earned. Assuming Twice grossed 600 million in total revenue since debut, the girls themselves might have only pocketed 5-20 percent of that. Assuming 12 percent, that's 72 million for the entire group, which amounts to 8 million for each member. A lot of dough for sure, but just a fraction of what they have brought to JYPE.

It's about the cost of the Album not the number of units sold, "Single Albums" are cheaper
