Here's the new copy of this thread out of respect for OP. This discussion did not deserve to be derailed or removed entirely, so I figured this was the right approach.
Please refrain from using this as an opportunity to attack any fandom. In situations like this, it's much more preferable to refer to perpetrators of toxic behavior specifically as "toxic K-pop fans" or "toxic K-pop stans" as opposed to their fandom name even if "some" is added to it. When specific fandom names are brought up, it runs the risk of alerting individuals from the fandom and puts people on edge.
I want this to be an opportunity to discuss unacceptable behavior in K-pop stan culture, which was OP's intention in the first place, not an opportunity to discuss charts, flopping, or whatever else some AKP members love to fixate on. Good or bad, some components of the K-pop community globally are worth discussing as long as we're responsible about it.
This is supposed to be a constructive discussion. While I acknowledge the thread won't be as lively as it was in its original but hostile iteration, keeping it civil and mellow is the right move going forward.
