The second season of the anime will be released soon and a live action is in the filming stage. But knowing how BL dramas take time to be released I wouldn’t expect anything for the foreseeable future. So like at least a year or two lol.
There is a book series that has an official translation. Only the first book is out of a multi series plan.

These are both adaptations of a novel. It won’t adapt the anime but the book. The Untamed was really good and it adapted Mo Dao Zu Shi another book by the same author MXTX. So this is definitely something to look forward to.
On that note you should also watch the MDZS anime (and The Untamed obvs but only if you aren’t turned off but fantasy cdramas 👀) it’s free to watch on YouTube and complete!
