The Heretic's Top Ten GG Video List -2021

Overall, I was disappointed by 2021. Many groups I really like released nothing that impressed me. Whether it was a COVID hangover or just economic malaise, the first half of 2021 didn’t give us much to love - but the last few months have seen some very good releases. 10) Red Velvet – Queendom

Red Velvet seemed too inconsistent over the years, and that’s SM’s fault – but Queendom is the best MV they have made in a while.

2021 has been a “cute” year, and this video is one of the cutest.

T-ara - TIKI TAKA

The Queens surprised us with a comeback – and are still at their visual peak. The MV is very high quality.

7) aespa - Forever

Put aside the nonsensical rap releases – this MV shows what aespa is really all about: big vocals, and a big future.

6) TWICE - Doughnut

It took me the longest time to like Twice. It wasn’t until Fancy that I finally saw their potential, and with this MV (yes, its Japanese – who cares) they have realized it.
