I guess it’s because they experienced the period.

Makes sense. I don’t want to invalidate their feelings at all and I understand the anger, but I just don’t think this will harm Jisoo’s career seriously besides that demographic

But still, it's better if the stans are just keep their mouth shut instead of worsen the situation by invalidate korean's feeling about this issue.

look that right, but there are some strange blinks....sigh. blinks on akp are actually some of the sanest and yet we have a reputation here, imagine how to rest of the fandom is.........there's really no getting to them......

We’re not getting a comeback before 2023 i fear

Still a bit skewed. Men in their 40's now would have been 15-16 at most in 1987, so not REALLY lived through it, as the demonstrations etc were college aged people.
The ones who really lived through he actual issues would be in their 50's and 60's.
The 40 -50 year olds would have become adults in the years following the events of 1987, when SK was recovering and entering a new era.

Nah, I'm talking about the one who actively doing media play on twt.
Manipulate news to raise that korean support the issue.. wtf. The worst is, big stan acc and million RT+likes worsen the situation.
They comment like "JBTC said this, President said that" as if dictated koreans that their concern is not that deep just based on JBTC statement, which they probably fight so hard so that their drama won't be cancelled and earn money. I mean, who are those i-fans tried to convince korean people how they should've feel towards the matter when those international fans didn't even know how meaningful the issue was. People are so loud about culture apropriation, but here we see the hypocrisy, invalidate koreans feelings about the issue.

I thought about calling this out, but decided to make a flippant comment instead.

yeah but doesn't mean they didn't know the impact of all when it was happend. True that college students were the ones who got involved directly in this issue, but this issue impacted to all age range who lived in 87 era. Who knows those people might have family related too, their sister/brother who join the fights, or they witness how the political changes that time. It makes more sense than if the voters are mostly in the 20s
