I would love to see more rock bands personally, and it caters well to the international market. However the Korean market still admires cute concepts

The JYP band was kind of a no to me... If I wanted pop punk then I would listen to actual pop punk... if I want some metal I for sure won't look into kpop.

What about about JYP having a band like this?

Rock is not exactly something kpop fans and I think koreans too tend to like

Rock is more loved in Japan, so maybe they could do an idol rock band in Japan or smth

I totally agree with you on that case!

This compilation has some J-rock-sounding K-rock. But the songs are kinda old. I don't think it's a profitable market in Korea.

I also wish they went heavier on the rock. I guess I will have to stick to J-rock.

Most kpop idol bands have heavier jpop albums. I don't think JYP needs to make a jrock group specifically.
