Why does the gp hate boy groups?

    No because I know some 4th gen boy groups make terrible noisey music like nct, treasure and stray kids but you have groups with top tier high quality music like txt, pentagon, enhypen, cix. Songs like loser lover, daisy, fever, jungle deserve so much more recognition in Korea. I don’t understand why the gp will not even give these groups a SINGLE chance. They just dismiss anything by a bg that’s not bts. Like you cannot sit here and tell me next level, mafia in the morning are more high quality than the other songs I mentioned before. It seems like the gp will stream any gg from the big 3 no matter if the song is good or not…oh well I guess bgs have always relied on fandom that can buy albums and go to their concerts other than ggs who’ve relied on gp—probably why ggs also don’t last that long because the gp do NOT stick around for anyone.

    Anyway just a thought.

    If anyone genuinely has answers pls let me know.

    Not only bgs gets hated by the nation but the idol community in general because it's oversaturated. You can count with the palm of your hand how many idol songs became a true hit in the last years, that's why they're now aiming to international fandom. And if you don't like that those groups are putting for sale then jokes on you.

    I don't think bgs are hated. There's a mentality that bgs are for 15 years old girls and their interests are always looked down upon. So the music doesn't matter, there's already a prejudice that stops them from even giving any of the bgs a chance for their music.

    I don't know, it's a perpetual cycle. Bgs will target fangirls now that the casual listeners don't give a fuck about them which will alienate the casual listeners more.

    Seriously asking, if the whole idol thing (mostly bgs, i agree) was in your country, would gp give it a chance? bc i can say for a fact no one here would. Can't blame korean population when they are acting like any other nations gp would act..
