mama 2021 is on the way to be the most boring awards show this year huh?

    The only acts I anticipate this year might only be 3 at max from the line up. This year’s MAMA isn’t as exciting as it was in the previous years. I wonder how this year’s show will look as they are missing major names this year like BTS, Twice, Seventeen, whom were commonly audience attractors before.

    For real the weakest line up i can't even remember a year when it was weaker than this and i know about kpop since 2nd gen.

    usually every year there was at least one S tier group this year there's noone.

    so bts, twice, and bp are all skipping MMA and MAMA, arguably the two biggest award shows, this year


    both will be a snoozefest

    Both mama and mma are basically empty houses this year

    Why the hell would BP go anywhere if they didn't release music this year?

    I think BTS will precord. BP wasn’t at last year’s either. SKZ, TXT and NCT all had buzzy sets last year so it will still be interesting but it looks like it’s sorely missing premier solo performers like Taemin, Hwasa or BoA.

    at least mma has iu, mama just looks horrible, it literally has none of the top groups

    BP didn't even attend last year's shows when it was their biggest year so this year's absence was predictable. But now I'm curious about the closing acts and daesangs since BTS won't be there. Others will have more chances at the daesangs.

    No. MAMA won't deliberately rob BTS. They were trying till the last minutes to get BTS to attend. There is good partnership between HYBE & MNet & CJ.

    If you're talking about partnership, didn't CJ just bought SM recently? CJ are partners with a lot companies tho. They will probably will 1 or 2 daesangs to BTS but I doubt there's another sweep.

    I'm kinda glad bts isnt attending this show.

    And MMA Is looking just as bad if not worse! BP is not a surprise as they haven't attended anything since early 2019 but BTS also not going is a shocker

    Not Armys already laying the groundwork to discredit potential future winners and feel justified doing so :cryingr:
