    You say that TXT is clearly more active when that's not true. The difference with the amount of songs between ITZY and TXT is not that big.

    For songs counted in their totals right now

    ITZY - 50 tracks

    TXT - 58 tracks


    TXT and ITZY have literally had the same amount of korean cbs. so the only difference is the JPN cbs and lets be honest... unless you are BTS or to a lesser extent Twice, JPN cbs don't benefit korean acts on spotify a ton... especially not enough to give a 200M and growing gap.


    that is an 8 song gap. It's not massive at all. That too with TXT debuting a month after ITZY so they had to catch up with the gap first (especially since ITZYs debut song is big on spotify).


    So yes You can say ITZY is stronger title track wise and TXT album wise but there is a question of what benefits an acts streams more. lets look at something:

    Crazy In Love has 16 tracks on it (9 are new tracks)

    TCC: Freeze has 8 tracks on it


    TCC: Freeze debuted with 29.8M streams in its first week on spotify

    CIL with 1 more original song + double the overall tracks debuted with 16.4M streams in its first week.


    so essentially you can't say TXT is weaker on Spotify just cause ITZY does better than TXT in title track streams.

    I personally would say ITZY and TXT are pretty equal on spotify with both having their own strengths (ITZY with title tracks and TXT with album streams). Their MLs also show they're pretty equal on spotify in general. ITZY has 5.5M and TXT has 5.7M (both had recent JPN releases)

    You didn't specify title tracks, you were speaking generally. ITZY doesn't have good b-side streams, TXT and SKZ do. it shows better fan engagement and that people check out their whole album.


    Also TXT takes an average wait of 6-7 months between Korean comebacks lol.
