two years ago kpop fans might have been okay with no eng subs but not anymore. If they don't get content they want they'll move on to something else. You need stans to be successful, not casual fans. Give them eng subs.
Excuses i mentioned above i've heard a gazillion times. Bighit stans defended their decision to not include eng subs using those excuses. And then one day armys got tired of that nonsense and trended with over 300k tweets give us subs. We finally got them in 2019, and let me tell you, company stans were pissed

If they allow viewers to add subs then eventually we get them but often its not the case and they leave us hanging. For Wonyoung and Yujin's videos on SSE's channel I noticed all already have subs so I guess it will be added on IVE's teasers soon or later. But they should have thought about it before releasing, because all the hype to not even give us subs its just so dumb.
SSE also does this to Monsta X's videos and the difference between the videos with subs and the non sub videos are massive. For example one of the very first and few videos that they actually added eng subs have 2,5m views and the ones that don't get subs usually only get around 100-300k views, sometimes not even that. It's self sabotage.
