With Twice drastic downwards decline since 2019 (let's be honest) and 4th gen coming into sight it's only a matter of time before the public grow tired of Bts. What boy group will benefit most when Bts declines? My vote goes to Enhypen they will pass Stray kids and Txt in 2022 and eventually become the new Bts.

While I don't deny that similar SM stans exist, the majority of them are more into the SM brand (vocals, visuals, concepts etc.) than the company itself.

They firstly became huge internationally and that itself helped people in korea see them and pay them attention. As long as you have the international popularity, you will be fine without the domestic one since it's "the whole world, composed of so many countries > korea, one music market"

it's a fact that if you debut 407 on melon daily chart, you'll never be the next BTS. And you can never be a top group if you aren't popular in korea
so you mean to tell me that if we have a group that:
-has most sales out of other groups
-has the best charting on international charts, including billboard
-sells out big stadiums worldwide
-dominate over the other groups in terms of spotify streams, views etc
-has very prestigious international awards
-has a very big international popularity
won't be considered a top group if their charting in korea is bad?

Enhypen had a viral song this summer, "fever", it went big in countries like Philippines,Indonesia,Thailand and etc. That brought a lot of popularity to enhypen and the fact they come from a survival show alone means many people checked them out. People know them because many say they are casual listeners of the group since they like their discography even if they don't stan
