Actually last year iirc gidle was only behind izone and Blackpink in mama votes or was it some other award show votes? Gidle does have a good following.

idk I feel like RV and Aespa have such huge differences in sound they should have different fanbases both internationally and domestically so I don't understand the fandom transference in this case. Their seasons greetings had completely different background music so someone at marketing at SM clearly works hard at making sure they're marketed differently(glitchy sounds for Aespa vs dramatic piano music for RV).

They destroyed itzy last year in votes if i am not wrong. A big3 gg so won't be suprised if they r doing the same to rv. Gidle have dedicated following.

I'm not saying that they don't exist, but f(x)'s fans didn't transfer to RV so imagining a transfer from Rv to Aespa is hard to handle. Now company stanning with SM bg fans in SK is most certainly a thing. Achievement stanning, Idk weather that's an actual thing in the local market, just because it seems big on an international kpop forum doesn't mean that's how things work in the industry itself. If Red Velvet is losing fans theoretically it's not because of their lack of sucess(Queendom is doing pretty well I think) but because of aging that is the real deal-breaker for gg fans in SK.

I think it's cos Mike is a US radio DJ right? So due to the Feels a lot of ONCE maybe follow him or at least know of him so see the poll on the TL.

Maybe since Red Relvet are pretty small o or don't have a lot of US fan who know him so they get no votes?
