Has tiktok affected kpop choreo?

I've noticed some comments here or there about idols trying to get their songs to go viral by catering their dances to tiktok. What do you think?
100 percent.
I think there's always 1 part of the dance meant to go on TikTok
Since I'm somi biased
ex: the dumb dumb eye thing
ex: XOXO with arms
It's catchy, simple for others to do, and it helps the artists
The question for me then is if it is a good/bad thing? For that...I really don't know
the reason I got into twice was because of their iconic point moves...so I like this type of dance.

good point actually...maybe they're just more aware of making catchy moves now to promote songs?

Well the whole dance challenges having being a thing since 2018 and they became more prominent with the notoriety of Ticktock

Yeah, maybe it's the dance challenge thing and it was just amplified with tictok. And while catchy moves and fans learning choreo have been part of kpop forever, sometimes I do feel like I notice when the choreo does a very specific section designed for challenges and going viral.

Yeah definitely some choreos were made to be used as dance challenge take for example power up by Red velvet which was released in 2018 the hand gestures was made specifically to be used as a way to make the song go viral.
To be honest i had enough of every song coming out and the company labeling the choreo as a challenge like it's so over done and cringy at this point , and challenges are so 2014 like no one is doing challenges any more

People can't seem to come to a consensus on this.
Half of them say doing easy/repeatable moves anyone can learn to go viral has ruined things.
Half of them say not doing easy/repeatable moves anyone can learn to go viral has ruined things.
