Blackpink hasnt moved like a Kpop group since 2019. To me, they are already on indefinite hiatus like SNSD, with active solo and model careers.

blackpink released the album in 2020. it seems you only used bp for bragging rights and they still #1 girl group btw, you should know by now that they don't release music as often like other girl groups.

I don't think they are a competition yet it's not uncommon for girl groups to do well on charts OMG also surpassed a blackpink song (forgot which one) same with brave girls they did well digitally. BP focused on solos this year but things will change when they come back as a group.

It's not even about music. It's about the utter lack of evidence that the girls are actively involved in each others' lives outside of official comebacks. They move like work colleagues who see each other every month or two, not as friends who've known each other for almost a decade.
Izone has been disbanded for like seven months, but i've seen 10x as much Izone content with members doing official and unofficial activities together as i've seen from BP. These are girls from literally 2035 different labels going out of their way to enjoy each others company.
In the same time period, how often have we seen BP acting even remotely like a group? When was the last time BP did an OT4 Vlive or Insta? How many times have we seen BP doing a variety show together?
