Absolutely true. That mass hate and negative rating black mamba received the moment it was released is what I equate as the digital version of Soshi's black ocean. It was such a pity thing to go out of your way just to unanimously dislike a song just because you hate the group. The later part is always the fun part, when tables are turned and haters are proven wrong.
